Dr. Robert Fellous, Global President of Health & Beauty Products Division of INTERTEK Group, visited GEMS

    As an important partner of INTERTEK, Uniasia Group has been developing healthily and steadily in recent years, and its forward-looking globalization layout and dedicated attitude to the cosmetic industry have gained the high attention of the senior management of INTERTEK Group, and Dr. Robert Fellous, the global president of the Group's Health and Beauty Products Division, came to China from France and visited the  Group with Mr. Li Zhongrui, the chief toxicologist of South China. The chief toxicology expert of South China, Mr. Li Zhongrui, and other 5 people visited Uniasia Group on June 7, 2016.

    Dr. Robert Fellous graduated with a PhD in Pharmacy   from Université René Decartes, Paris V, France. He then obtained a postdoctoral fellowship in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of California, Berkeley (USA). Dr. Robert Fellous holds an EMBA from INSEAD. Dr. Robert Fellous has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries and has served as a member of the IFRA REACh Working Group, Chairman of the Expert Committee on Flavors and Fragrances, member of the IFRA Scientific Committee and the Joint Advisory Group of IFRA. Dr.  Robert Fellous is currently the Global President of Health & Beauty Products Division of INTERTEK, which is the world's largest manufacturer of health and beauty products, and has served as the Chairman of the IFRA REACh Working Group, the Flavor & Fragrance Expert Committee, the IFRA Scientific Committee, and the IFRA Joint Advisory Group.  Dr.  Robert Fellous is currently the President of INTERTEK's Health & Beauty Products Division and enjoys a high reputation in the international flavor and fragrance and cosmetic industries.

    Dr. Robert Fellous and his entourage visited the Uniasia Museum and Corporate Pavilion, and had a pleasant technical exchange with Uniasia's senior leaders, R&D team and product safety compliance team. At the museum, Dr. Robert Fellous showed great interest in the application of Chinese herbs and plant extracts in cosmetic formulations. He was impressed by the use of Chinese herbal extracts to enhance the efficacy of Meibao products and bring consumers a pleasant skincare experience, by the use of natural and organic raw materials in Flanolinka products to bring consumers  a natural and healthy skincare experience, and by the use of silicone-free formulas in SEEYOUNG products, Dr. Robert Fellous  expressed his  appreciation for Uniasia Group's enterprise scale, R&D strength, production capacity, management methods, infrastructure support, overseas layout, etc., and especially highly recognized Uniasia's plan to adopt the European Union cosmetic standards to realize the quality and safety control of its domestic and overseas factories.

    Dr. Robert Fellous personally delivered a technical presentation to the management of Uniasia Group. During the more than 2 hourstechnical speech and communication, Dr. Robert Fellous explained the product quality and safety supervision methods, rules and requirements of cosmetics in EU and Australia, introduced in detail the EU cosmetics Responsbile Person system, PIF product information file system, introduced in detail Australia's strict supervision requirements for sunscreen products, whitening skincare products, anti-dandruff shampoos and other cosmetics, and gave constructive comments on the production management, personnel management, product marketing and product labeling of Uniasia Group's overseas factories.     President of Uniasia Group Mr. Wu Zhiqing, Vice President of Chang Xianyao and the main leaders and representatives of Research Institute, Quality Engineering Department and Australian factory attended this meeting, and both sides also had a pleasant exchange on how Uniasia Group and INTERTEK Group can further implement international cooperation and how to face the complex international market environment together.
